What is it about the plinky-plonk, tinkly sound of a barrel organ that makes it the quintessential sound of a British summer? 
Especially if it's sunny and you have a waffle cone of Aeron Jersey ice cream in your hand. This was our day, wandering around the Aberystwyth & Ceredigion County Show, looking at the traction engines and vintage tractors, marvelling at the many breeds of chicken being shown and watching the kids go nuts on the bouncy castle, another British institution.
